At Relay on Friday I ran from one person to another trying to solve minor issues (Summer handled the major issues lol) while trying to meet back at the radio station van for the on location broadcasts every 10-15 minutes. It was pretty funny when he'd see me running up to the van he'd hold out the mic since most of the time he had to start without me!
So as I approached at one point he said "here's Michelle one of the Ramrods of this event." What does that mean? I don't think it was a good thing. Another time he said "Michelle Best is the co-chair and the Mouthpiece of Relay For Life".
Would I rather be a Ramrod or a Mouthpiece?
I'm thinking neither one is a good thing!
I think this lady agreed that they were both not suitable names for me! Good times! We sure had a good time, she did too.....
In this picture from Left to right: Michelle (me), Taryn, Julie, Aimee, Melissa (BFF) and her FBF Chris. The rest of the team was there somewhere. Not pictured: Amber, Brandy, Roxy, Carol (MIL), Stephanie (SIL), Sarah, Ally, and I hope I didnt forget someone.

This was the survivors taking the first celebratory lap of Relay right before the team lap pictured above.
This was me. Around 8pm I believe. I was so exhausted and hot and sweaty and gross. I had not sat down all day and knew I needed to sit for just a few minutes. I was actually sitting there to hide from everyone but the best babysitter/relayer/neighbors niece in the world was there to help me relax for a few. I think it lasted about 4 minutes before I felt guilty and knew I had work to get done. Thanks Aimee!
